Basketball Game Preview: Jordan Red Jackets vs. Central Hawks + Official Tickets

Jordan is 2-8 against Central since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Red Jackets will take on the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Jordan is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Pike County on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Red Jackets lost 55-30 to the Pirates. The Red Jackets were down 34-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 60-55 to Stewart County. The loss put an end to the Hawks' undefeated start to the season.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Central, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Jordan ended up a good deal behind Central when the teams last played two weeks ago, losing 57-42. Can the Red Jackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
