It's playoff time, and McLeod had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Como-Pickton Eagles on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Longhorns have posted since March 17th.

McLeod is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Como-Pickton, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.

Looking ahead, McLeod will take on Overton on Saturday. Como-Pickton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
