Basketball Recap: Williamsville Comes Up Short

Williamsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 44-19 to the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers. The Bullets were not able to make up for their loss to the Hilltoppers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Williamsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Mt. Pulaski, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

When Williamsville and Mt. Pulaski next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Williamsville will try to stop Pawnee/Calvary/Lutheran's five-game winning streak when the meet at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Mt. Pulaski will challenge Illini Bluffs and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
