Basketball Recap: BASIS Phoenix Takes a Loss

BASIS Phoenix was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Phoenix Christian Cougars, falling 95-45. While losing is never fun, the Firebirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while the Cougars are ranked 141st).

BASIS Phoenix's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Phoenix Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.

BASIS Phoenix will welcome Scottsdale Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Phoenix Christian has already played their next contest (against ALA - West Foothills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
