Softball Preview: Crivitz Wolverines vs. Coleman Cougars
Crivitz is 1-9 against Coleman since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Crivitz Wolverines will head out on the road to challenge the Coleman Cougars at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Crivitz will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Saturday, then bounced right back against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah on Saturday. Everything went Crivitz's way against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah as Crivitz made off with an 11-4 win.
Meanwhile, Coleman got the win against Niagara on Thursday by a conclusive 12-1.
Courtney Denruyter spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 16 Ks.
