Humble lost to Channelview back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-8, 25-17.

Shelby Huckaby paced Humble's offense, picking up 22 kills. Huckaby got some help from Jai'Lynn Parks and her 37 assists. Jaci Casas controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Defeat or not, Channelview got some senior leadership from Amy Garcia and Vivian Arredondo. Garcia had 21 digs and one assist, while Arredondo had 24 assists and 12 digs. Garcia is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 17 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Humble's win bumped their record up to 12-19. As for Channelview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.

Humble didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Atascocita on the 10th. As for Channelview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Kingwood on the 10th.
