Softball Recap: Hart Takes a Loss

Hart fell victim to Moorpark and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 9-0 to the Musketeers. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Musketeers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Hart's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Moorpark, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hart will challenge Castaic at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Coyotes have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Moorpark, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Oak Park at 3:30 p.m. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
