Jefferson has gone a perfect 10-0 against Herculaneum recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Blue Jays will welcome the Black Cats at 7:00 p.m.

Jefferson is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Hillsboro just ended the team's ten-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Hawks. While the Blue Jays didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hawks 25-15 in the first set.

Jefferson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Herculaneum was able to grind out a solid win over Lift for Life Academy on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20.

Herculaneum's victory bumped their record up to 6-12-2. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11-4.

Jefferson was able to grind out a solid win over Herculaneum in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-0. Will the Blue Jays repeat their success, or do the Black Cats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
