Soccer Game Preview: Maryville vs. West

The Maryville Red Rebels will challenge the West Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Maryville is headed into Monday's contest following a draw, the team's first since March 4. They and Cleveland finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

Andrew (Mason) Malone and Joshua Maldanado Costas scored both of Maryville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, West was not quite Hardin Valley Academy's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for West in their meetings with Hardin Valley Academy: they've now lost three in a row.

With that draw, Maryville's record moves to 10-6-2. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-1.
