Spencer/Columbus and Marathon pushed the score to 46-14 the last time they played Marathon, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Rockets walked away with a 14-6 victory over the Red Raiders. The 14-point effort marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win was the third in a row for Spencer/Columbus, bringing their record up to 5-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.3 points on average over those games. As for Marathon, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

As of now, neither Spencer/Columbus nor the Red Raiders have any future games scheduled.
