Basketball Recap: West Memphis Comes Up Short

West Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 48-24 to the Paragould Rams. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

West Memphis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Paragould, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Memphis will square off against rival Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Paragould is set to take on their familiar foe Greene County Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
