Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt managed to keep up with Norco until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Roosevelt Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Norco Cougars. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Mustangs haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Roosevelt and nudges their season record down to 8-7-5. As for Norco, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will host Corona at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Corona will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Roosevelt surely won't give up without a fight. Norco has already played their next game (against Santiago), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
