Wausa put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to the Winside Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-22 victory. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brayden Lurz, who posted ten points and six boards. Jake Storovich also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Wausa pushed their record up to 16-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Winside, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Wausa will square off against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winside, they will face off against Bloomfield at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
