Football Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Faith Christian Lions, falling 44-0. The Eagles lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in March of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 12-6 score last time.

Faith Christian can attribute much of their success to Victoriah Alvarado, who threw for 175 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of her passes.

Trinity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Faith Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

Trinity Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 39-0 defeat against Taylor on the 6th. As for Faith Christian, they will square off against Lake Mary Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
