Troy Alderfer put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances.
