Basketball Game Preview: Rancho Cucamonga Cougars vs. Liberty Bison

The Rancho Cucamonga Cougars will challenge the Liberty Bison at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Rancho Cucamonga has given up an average of 66.8 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Saturday, Rancho Cucamonga came up short against Aquinas and fell 66-54.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Liberty ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 51-46 win over San Jacinto. Winning may never get old, but the Bison sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Rancho Cucamonga, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Rancho Cucamonga against Liberty when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 86-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
