Basketball Game Preview: Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles vs. Priceville Bulldogs

The Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Priceville Bulldogs at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Saturday, Decatur Heritage Christian Academy humbled Westminster Christian Academy with a 64-31 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 27 points or more this season.

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Eastman, who went 5 for 11 en route to 17 points and five assists. Eastman is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for four straight games. Genie Mcghee was another key player, putting up four points in addition to eight rebounds, six blocks, and five assists.

Meanwhile, Priceville had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 68-50 victory over the Indians.

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Priceville, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
