Softball Recap: Tonopah Muckers vs. Beaver Dam Diamondback

Tonopah had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-3 to make it seven. They fell just short of the Beaver Dam Diamondback by a score of 31-30. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Diamondback this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Friday.

Ava Willis made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all seven of her plate appearances with six runs, five RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Tiffany Snyder, who got on base in six of her seven plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and one RBI.

As for Beaver Dam, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 9 runs per game.

On Beaver Dam's side, the team relied heavily on Madison Garcia, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and one double while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. That's the most RBI Garcia has posted since back in April of 2025.
