South Glens Falls proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Scotia-Glenville Tartans, sneaking past 4-2. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Tartans: they've now won four in a row.

Isabelle Ames spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
