The Making Waves Academy Marlins will venture away from home to face off against the Fremont Christian Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fremont Christian took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Making Waves Academy, who comes in off a win.

Making Waves Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Contra Costa Christian by a score of 3-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Marlins as it put an end to their seven-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 20-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Fremont Christian came up short against Cornerstone Christian on Friday and fell 3-1. The Warriors have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Fremont Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Cornerstone Christian work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 22-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Fremont Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Making Waves Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-12.

Making Waves Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Fremont Christian in their previous matchup on September 4th, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Marlins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
