Basketball Recap: Tolland Takes a Loss

Tolland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the East Hartford Hornets and fell 90-48. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-48 back in December of 2024.

Tolland's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for East Hartford, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tolland will square off against Enfield at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Hartford, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Xavier at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in East Hartford's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
