Softball Recap: East Ridge Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

There's no place like home for East Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past The Villages Charter Buffalo 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since February 28th.

East Ridge let Veronica Peterson and Lelia Bolden run wild. Peterson went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Bolden went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs Bolden has posted since back in March. Lilly Land was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

East Ridge's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-5.
