Basketball Recap: Wheatley Now 14-1 over Last 15 Games

Wheatley extended their road winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Jamie Solomon. The Wheatley Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Worthing Colts 74-34 thanks in part to Solomon, who went 13 for 22 en route to 34 points and five steals. Her afternoon made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Caria Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 assists. Thomas is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Wheatley is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.4 points. As for Worthing, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Wheatley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Worthing has already played their next match (against Northside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
