Football Recap: Bentonville Falls Short of Bryant in the Playoffs

Bentonville and Bryant squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Bentonville had to settle for second. They took a 28-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bryant Hornets. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Jordan Walker was his usual excellent self, rushing for 155 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also throwing for 125 yards and one touchdown for Bryant. The dominant performance gave Walker a new career-high in rushing touchdowns. Bryant also got a significant boost from Myron Thrash Jr, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 81 yards.

Bentonville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Bryant, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

As of now, neither Bentonville nor Bryant have any future games scheduled.
