Softball Recap: Hale Ray Noises vs. Cromwell Panthers        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Hale Ray gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cromwell Panthers  a   13-0 shutout. The  win was familiar territory for Hale Ray who now have nine in a row.
  Lily Jahne made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Jahne has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. Jahne was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and a  run.
 In other batting news,  Julia Campbell was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Fenway Jankowski, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Hale Ray pushed their record up to 15-4 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Cromwell, they now  have a losing record at 8-9.
 Hale Ray will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cromwell: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
