Baseball Game Preview: Tenoroc Titans vs. Lake Placid Dragons

The Tenoroc Titans will head out to challenge the Lake Placid Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tenoroc comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Tenoroc came up short against Zephyrhills on Friday, falling 31-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lake Placid, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Frostproof by a score of 5-2 on Friday. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Diesel Taylor, who went 3-for-4 with one triple and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Kaleb Zahller also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Lake Placid was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Tenoroc's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Lake Placid, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-11.
