Mt. Gilead benefitted from Thomas in 53-44 defeat
Aubrey Thomas's big game on Tuesday left her with a new season-high in points. As a matter of fact, she turned in her best performance of the season, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Perhaps even more impressive was her lead-up to Monday's matchup, in which she outscored her previous point total for four consecutive games.
Thomas and Mt. Gilead will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Gilead got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Bulldogs, probably because Thomas had a solid game then too: she scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
