Baseball Recap: Meadowdale Takes a Loss

After flying high against Thurgood Marshall last Monday, Meadowdale came back down to earth. The Lions fell just short of the Trotwood-Madison Rams by a score of 9-8 on Monday. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 18-16.

Meadowdale now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Trotwood-Madison, their win ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.

Meadowdale has already played their next contest (against Stivers School for the Arts), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Trotwood-Madison, they will take on Ponitz Career Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Golden Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
