Basketball Recap: Juan Diego Catholic Falls Despite Big Games from Olivia Fry and Ayen Kuath

Juan Diego Catholic suffered their biggest defeat since December 2nd on Saturday. They lost 67-43 to the Cottonwood Colts.

Juan Diego Catholic's loss came despite strong showings from Ayen Kuath and Olivia Fry. Kuath posted 12 points and four blocks, while Fry earned four points. Kuath has been hot, having posted three or more blocks the last eight times she's played.

Juan Diego Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Cottonwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Juan Diego Catholic and Kearns will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cottonwood, they will take on Timpanogos at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Timpanogos will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Cottonwood surely won't give up without a fight.
