Softball Recap: Mount Notre Dame's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Mount Notre Dame was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against the Teays Valley Vikings, falling 7-1. The loss put an end to Mount Notre Dame's undefeated start to the season.

McKenna Manley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mount Notre Dame fell to 2-1. Teays Valley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Notre Dame will welcome Mercy McAuley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Teays Valley, they will square off against Lancaster at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
