Scott owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Calvary Christian Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Carson Bleha was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Scott's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Calvary Christian, they dropped their record down to 14-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

When Scott and Calvary Christian next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Eagles will take on St. Henry and their three-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Calvary Christian will try to stop Bishop Brossart's four-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cougars 3.9, the Mustangs 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
