Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bedford North Lawrence). They blew past the New Albany Bulldogs 14-1 on Thursday. The Stars not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2, 2024 (when they won 17-1).

Macee Nicholson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Nicholson was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ava Ratliff, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted over her last 13 contests. Another player making a difference was Adalynn Bailey, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Bedford North Lawrence always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bedford North Lawrence is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
