Soccer Recap: Dickson County's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Dickson County was feeling good fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Corbin on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell just short of the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Sunday. The loss put an end to Dickson County's undefeated start to the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Lily Christian, who's now up to four this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dickson County fell to 3-1. As for Shelbyville Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Dickson County has already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Huntingdon on the 28th. As for Shelbyville Central, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Stewarts Creek at 7:00 p.m. on September 4.
