Softball Recap: Marion County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Marion County can now relate to. They fell 5-2 to the Berry Wildcats on Tuesday. The Red Raiders' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Marion County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Berry, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-16 record this season.

Marion County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berry, they have already played their next game, an 11-4 victory against Brilliant on the 29th.
