Paris put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Menifee County Wildcats get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Xavier Brown was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Brown was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and one triple. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Dexter Leverett and Cameron Mays did most of the damage at the plate: Leverett scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Mays scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave Leverett a new career-high. Ayden Hawkins was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
