Basketball Game Preview: Midway Vikings vs. Appleton City Bulldogs

The Midway Vikings will take on the Appleton City Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Midway is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Midway was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-49 to Archie.

Meanwhile, Appleton City didn't have quite enough to beat Drexel on Monday and fell 47-44. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Appleton City, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Midway ended up a good deal behind Appleton City in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 46-29. Can Midway avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
