Soccer Game Preview: Fayette Ware vs. Haywood

Fayette Ware is 2-7 against Haywood since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Tomcats at 5:30 p.m. Fayette Ware's last seven matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Fayette Ware played against Union City on Thursday and won via forfeit.

Haywood is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against University School of Jackson, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Haywood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 304th, while University School of Jackson are ranked 150th).

Fayette Ware is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7-3 record this season. As for Haywood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11-1.
