Baseball Game Preview: Juniata Valley Hornets vs. Williamsburg Blue Pirates

The Juniata Valley Hornets will square off against the Williamsburg Blue Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither Juniata Valley nor Williamsburg posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Juniata Valley's offense. They lost 8-0 to Rockwood on Wednesday.

Juniata Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyler Spurlin, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Williamsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Curwensville.

Juniata Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Williamsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
