Volleyball Recap: San Antonio Christian Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against LEE, San Antonio Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cuero Gobblers.

Maggie Adkison paced San Antonio Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Adkison got some help from Mary Ellen Sturm and her 18 assists. Annabelle Warren and Sydney Smith kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

San Antonio Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Cuero, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
