Baseball Recap: Bear Lake Bears vs. Snake River Panthers

Bear Lake fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Snake River on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-4. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Jack Hulme was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 7.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Hulme was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
