Volleyball Recap: Tell City Takes a Loss

Tell City was the 3-2 winner over Southridge when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Marksmen fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Haley Braun paced Tell City's offense, picking up ten kills. Braun got some help from Aubrey Harth and her 16 assists. Bailey McWhirter controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Tell City's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Southridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Tell City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Perry Central on the 30th. As for Southridge, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Henryville on the 30th.
