 Carlson scored the most  goals they've had all season to find success  on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Richard Pioneers  an   8-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Carlson needed considering they were shutout in their previous   match.
 Their offense was hitting Richard from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. 
 Natalie MacBride led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
 Carlson's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-12-3. As for Richard, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-8-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlson will play host again  on Wednesday to welcome Airport, where kickoff is scheduled  at 6:00  p.m. Airport is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.8  goals per game  this season. As for Richard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Mary Catholic Central at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Michigan (St. Mary Catholic Central is ranked 339th, while Richard is ranked 358th).
