Northville entered their tilt with Canton on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Canton Cobras, sneaking past 53-51. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-52 back in January.

Canton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kessler Blakita, who went 7-for-16 to rack up 16 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lem Pettway, who went 6-for-13 en route to 16 points.

Northville pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Canton, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northville will face off against Plymouth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northville is facing Plymouth at the right time seeing as Plymouth is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Canton, they will take on Hartland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Canton has insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
