Basketball Recap: Booker T. Washington-Shreveport Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Booker T. Washington-Shreveport can now relate to. They fell just short of the University Lab Cubs by a score of 50-48 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Cubs are ranked 39th).

Booker T. Washington-Shreveport has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-18 record this season. University Lab is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Booker T. Washington-Shreveport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University Lab, they are taking a road trip to take on Lake Charles College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Charles College Prep will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something University Lab surely won't give up without a fight.
