Baseball Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss

Manchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-1 to the Leslie Blackhawks. If the Flying Dutchmen were looking for revenge after losing 8-2 to the Blackhawks when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Leslie, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manchester will take on rival Grass Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Leslie is set to challenge their familiar foe Napoleon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
