Basketball Recap: Oak Ridge Comes Up Short

Oak Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grand Oaks Grizzlies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the War Eagles of the 61-34 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2025.

Oak Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Grand Oaks, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8.

Coincidentally, Oak Ridge and Grand Oaks will both be playing Willis the next time they take the court. The War Eagles will host the Wildkats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Grizzlies will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
