Football Recap: Indio Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Indio extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were outmatched by the Western Christian Fighting Lancers and fell 47-6. The Rajahs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.

Aiden Hernandez threw for 47 yards on four of seven attempts. Moyses Aguilar was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards. On the ground, Adam Tremper rushed for 94 yards.

As for Western Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by 41 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Western Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Liam Kawamura, who rushed for 124 yards on only five carries. Another signal caller making a difference was Carter Doolittle, who threw for 93 yards and two touchdowns.

Indio didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 27-16 win against San Gorgonio on the 19th. As for Western Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Silver Valley at 6:00 p.m. on the 27th.
