            Softball Recap: Ninety Six Wildcats vs. Chesnee Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ninety Six had no problem doing just that  on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Chesnee Eagles by a score of  4-1. The  victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.
 Meghan Kimberling spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits.
 At the plate, Ninety Six saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Olivia Coster, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.  Katie Fortner was another,  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.
