Volleyball Recap: Pacific Ridge Starts Season with Win Against Mission Bay + How To Watch

Pacific Ridge had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Mission Bay Buccaneers with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The Firebirds not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Pacific Ridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Mission Bay still got an impressive performance from Gianna Harder, who had five digs and two aces.

Pacific Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against University City on the 15th. After both having extra time off, Mission Bay and High Tech Mesa will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
