Softball Recap: Carroll Chargers vs. Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins

Carroll put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins as the Carroll Chargers made off with a 12-5 victory. Carroll might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Taylor Danley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. Danley has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Danley was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Jaidyn Fuller was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Addi Hupe, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
